Adam's Character

Adam is Jones a Silver Miner. He meets Oscar when he visits the Matchless Silver Mine - where they are opening a new seam named after him. We don't really get chance to see Jones develop a character as he is only in the first 90 seconds of the film. The credits are still rolling. However the script describes him thus -

Oscar opening comment is "I thought I was descending into hell. But with these angel faces to greet me - it must be paradise."

The script then says - "Oscar addresses the miners generally but one young man Jones, gets special glancing attention."

Can you wonder why when you see these pictures of him topless and shiny.
