The Original Adam Garcia
Standing Still

Late 2003 Adam was on the West Coast making this movie.

WHAT IS STANDING STILL

Directed by Matthew Weiss. Adam plays the groom, Michael and Amy Adams the bride on the verge of getting married who gather their group of friends for a few days of prewedding celebrations.

Starring are Mena Suvari, James Van Der Beek, James Duval, Colin Hanks, Aaron Stanford, Jon Abrahams, Melissa Sagemiller, Ethan Embry, Lauren German, Xander Berkely, Nikki Ziering, Marnette Patterson and helmer Roger Avary starring as himself.

The project, penned by Matthew Perniciaro and Timm Sharp, is described as a Gen Y version of "The Big Chill."

Marrige is not a piece of cake.

Actors, agents, old flames and old friends - a group of college buddies reunite for a weekend of good times and nostalgia on the eve of a wedding, and find their world turned slowly on its head.

Michael (Adam Garcia, Bootmen) and Elise (Amy Adams, Catch Me If You Can) are getting married, but Michael needs to face his past before he can have his future with her. Elise's ex-girlfriend Jennifer is in town for the big day, determined to tempt her college crush away from the husband-to-be, while the best man is facing commitment problems of his own. Throw a brittle-hearted and sarcastic best friend (Mena Suvari), a motormouth talent agent (Colin Hanks, Orange County), a hunky cowboy actor (James Van Der Beek, Dawson's Creek) and his pretentious director (Rules of Attraction writer-helmer Roger Avary), who are collaborating on a "metaphysical Western"; and an uninvited guest (Ethan Embry, Can't Hardly Wait) who also happens to be the goofy star of a series of children's exercise videos, and this particular wedding party is destined to go down in flames, Hollywood style.

A sexy, funny and touching tale about coming of age the second time around
