| WHAT IS THE FIRST $20 MILLION IS ALWAYS THE HARDEST? A film based on a novel by Po Bronson. The book synopsis is - Silicon Valley think-tank engineer Andy Caspar likes his job, but the head engineer has it in for him. Forced to work on creating a consumer PC that sells for less than $300, Andy gives it all he's got. His team progresses quite nicely until their bosses decide the project is a threat. Andy and his friends decide to start their own company. Little do they realize they are merely game pieces being manipulated by a master. The film story line is described as - Four misfit inventors think they've designed the computer of the future, only to find their design stolen by another inventor, who has the advantage of being well known. Garcia will play a marketing wiz. Adam will play the leading role of Andy Caspar - who leads the team into battle against "Iron Man" Francis Benoit. The Hollywood Reporter March 27-April 2, 2001 Rosario Dawson is in negotiations to star in 20th Century Fox's comedy feature "The First $20 Million Is Always The Hardest" and Columbia Pictures' "Men In Black 2." "$20 Million", also starring Adam Garcia, was originally scheduled to start in March, however, due to delays production will now start in mid-April in Los Angeles. The research lab is so huge they usemotorized scooters to get around. On location shooting will also take place at he Verizon Headquarters in Culver City. The pic will be helmed by Mick Jackson (LA STORY, VOLCANO, THE BODYGAURD) and produced by Harold Ramis and Trevor Albert for 20th Century Fox. Nigam plays one of the team of four computer geeks challenged to develop the ultimate $99 network computer in this ensemble comedy set in Silicon Valley. Nigam 's character, "Salman Fard", is a socially inept genius hacker. His girlfriend, whom he constantly rambles about, is actually an Internet companion, "FoxyLady23@aol.com", who he has yet to meet.
